I trim my finger nails once they get long and I trim them far as I can. But in about 1 week, they get REALLY long again! Is there anyway to slow down finger nail growth?

Warm temperature is usually the cause.
My right hand nails grow faster than my left, because I am always putting it under the running water to make sure of the temperature of it.
i here some people say that going into water alot can grow you nails.
